The wait is over… the renovation we’ve all been waiting years for is finally here! And here at Satara, we’re thrilled to be involved again and share with you the BIG REVEAL of Erin’s very own family home.
Located in The Hills District of Sydney, Erin’s home had great bones but the brick exterior with the terracotta roof was giving 1990s suburbia and the tired interior needed updating to suit her family of five. The transformation sees Erin’s suburban brick house into the Urban Farmhouse of her dreams.
Satara's Kitchen and Bar Stools are amongst the best in Australia, so it was an obvious choice for our our Toby, Sana and Wanda Stools to grace Erins' kitchen and alfresco areas to acheive the Urban Farmnhouse vibe she was aiming for.
It's been way too long between drinks... but for good reason! Three Birds Renovations have been busy working on their most challenging project yet.
The brief? To fix the floor plan and make the home a haven for intimate family living and a beautiful, inviting space to work, entertain and accommodate the occasional overseas visitor. But the floor plan was anything but beautiful - it was more like a rabbit warren with no open plan, odd-shaped rooms, dark pockets, different floor heights and different styles in each room.
The result? A little slice of Spain in Sydney. The owners will feel like they're on a Mediterranean island vacay every day.
Naturally for an abundance of textures, mediterranean tones and divine designs they approached Satara to assist in furnishing this modern mallorca style home.

Rolling Seas is a stunning beachfront property, owned by Mick Fanning (yes, the world champion surfer!) and his fiancée, Breeana and was completely re styled and re furnished by Three Birds Renovatins using an extensive number of Satara furniture pieces - click here for the full story.
In 2022, five years on from Lana's Forever Home renovation, Three Birds Renovations revisited her slice of 'Santorini in Sydney' to see if it's everything she hoped it would be. Consequently she restyled her Kitchen and Alfresco spaces.
Satara's Niko Bar Stools were specified for her Kitchen, not only for an update, but also to add more warmth and functionality.

Episode Five - THE BOYS WORLD
Three Birds Renovation says of the boys bedroom "This zone belongs to the two boys of the family and we’ve put their bedroom, bathroom, wardrobe, and a loft together to create a space that’s just for them. They’re only let out for meals. #jokes They only WANT to come out for meals.
The boys room features Satara's Iceland Bedsides. Enhanced by ribbed oak paneling on the drawer face, they provide both a place to hide away books and devices, as well as add a textured and layered element to the beautifully curated room.
Episode Seven - OUTDOOR VERANDAH

In Episode 7 our Norfolk Plinth Coffee Table, sits front and centre in an idyllic outdoor room. Crafted from powder stone , the coffee table anchors the space with it's strong form and concrete look, but it's suprisingly light, both visually and physically. The matching Norfolk Plinth Side Table is also used to beautiful effect seen both beside the daybed and lounge chairs.
